Is There A Fourth Dimension - Am I getting off playing with my brain?

My Stepson was asked to either defend or deny the existence of the Fourth Dimension for a school paper. It is an interesting subject for debate and conjecture, if you like that sort of thing. It is also the dumbest assignment I have ever heard of. Why not question the existence of a 6th dimension or even a 50th dimension. Better yet, what is on Fox tonight?

The following is my comment on my daughter's blog Fourth Dimensional posting:

Speculation on the Fourth Dimension is a particularly difficult task when you consider that neither the language nor the vocabulary exist which would allow competent dialogue.

Consider the following law as your first stepping stone to understanding the Fourth Dimension.

LAW OF COMPLEXITY-CONSCIOUSNESS
Expresses the relationship between the laws of thermodynamics and the laws of consciousness. Parameter of the whole of evolution with each stage being evaluated according to two closely correlated factors:

The degree of complexity, that is, the “organic” inter-linkage between increasingly numerous elements

and

The degree of “consciousness”, that is, centric and psychic emergence. Represents a higher and specific form of the process of centration beginning with the emergence of life.

Life is apparently nothing other than the privileged exaggeration of a fundamental cosmic drift...which is referred to as the Law of Complexity-Consciousness which is expressed as follows:

Left long enough to itself, through the extended universal play of chance, matter reveals the property of arranging itself in increasingly complex groups, and , at the same time, in increasingly deeper levels of consciousness; this double, conjugated movement of physical involution

and

psychic interiorization (or centration) is continued, accelerated and pushed as far as possible, once it has begun.

There are of course more laws and vocabulary necessary to complete your understanding, but I don’t have the continuum in a convergent curve indissolubly linked to space in order to form the stuff of the universe or, more correctly, its organic structure so that each element of the real becomes fibrous instead of pointed, that is, indefinitely extended both forward and backwards; becomes one with the collection of fibers making up the all, (TIME) to write them all down. But in the case of your personal PLEROMA (Bringing of the universe to maturity. Final completion of the supernatural organism in which the substantial one and the created multiple (many) are united without confusion in a totality that is a sort of triumph and generalization of being - without adding anything to God. Synthesis of the created and the uncreated in the Mystical Body of Christ, the great (quantitative and qualitative) completion of the universe in God.) allow me to just give you the quick answer.

Of course there is a fourth dimension. The pattern of divergence, convergence, emergence and transcendence exists in every aspect of creation. As the complexity of singular unity increases, and with it psychic centration, the resulting transcendence has to go somewhere. Certainly not up, down, sideways or across. The path of transcendence in all of creation points to the ultimate, most complex, most convergent Spiritual Consciousness of creation, in creation. God.

Which does not make God the fourth dimension, but the fourth dimension is certainly part of God.

After all, without transcendent consciousness the idea of even considering a fourth dimension is impossible.

Just getting up from a nap on Kodak Peak Posted by Hello

I also went hiking.

Thursday the boys and I, Max and Pepsi, hiked up Mt. Defiance and spent the night. It just so happened that was the night of the now famous electrical storm.

Being the highest peak in the general vacinity, I was able to watch the storm move toward us beginning right at sunset.

The clouds were blacker than black, but the setting sun had trimmed their bottoms and leading edges with brilliant orange.

Every once and a while lightning would erupt from out of the blackness and lick the ground. Sometimes there would be no lightning bolts just intense bright white light deep in the black.

Mordor? Middle Earth? What is happening to my feet?

It took almost half an hour for the storm to reach us. By then it was too late.
